Is Obecalp a drug?

Absolutely not! Is officially classified as a “dietary supplement”. It is a standardized and branded placebo for sale in the USA. It is pharmacologically inert. Obecalp is manufactured under the strictest standards available “cGMP” (current good manufacturing practice) which is the same stringent process used by drug manufacturing companies. We spend more time, effort and money to produce Obecalp via cGMP, but it is worth it!

Does the use of Obecalp perpetuate drug use in a “pill to cure everything” society? (One of the most frequently asked questions)

Does Obecalp do anything to my body?

The basic answer is NO with a caveat. Obecalp is made from the most inert and completely natural ingredients possible. (caveat - anything ingested into the body does “something”. Obecalp is designed to be inert and alter your body chemistry in the least possible way.)

Are there any artificial dyes in Obecalp?

Are there any artificial sweeteners in Obecalp?

Obecalp is packaged like other drugs and vitamins. Why?

Obecalp is professionally designed and developed to have the look like and feel of other drugs and vitamins. Even though it is packaged to look like drugs and vitamins - it is only a pharmacologically inert placebo and is designed to be a placebo.

Do you have any medical background?

No. I am a mommy and a former legal secretary. I do, however know when something is wrong with my children and my children alone. I know when it is necessary to give them over the counter medicine and I know when I need to seek medical advice on their behalf. I always consult and consider the advice of the medical authorities in my life. (Friends and family who are doctors, nurses and other medical professionals)

Does the placebo effect really exist?

If a medical professional tells me to take a placebo without informing me, won’t this hurt the trust factor?

I don’t know the answer or can I give any medical advice. Since this original posting the following study occurred where “…a survey of more than 200 physicians in the Chicago area found that nearly half—45%—had given a placebo to a patient at some point in their career.”
